Kevin Martlage guides organizations to create innovative cultures that support transformative change. His 22 years of experience leading complex projects include specialized expertise in developing and managing certification programs and strategic planning.
As director of credentialing with the International Society
of Arboriculture, Kevin was hired to elevate a long-standing ANSI/ISO
accredited portfolio of professional credentials and programs to industry best
practices and increased recognition. Kevin formalized policies and procedures
and introduced updated business practices. He and his team of nine employees,
collaborated with board and committee leaders to translate their goals into a
global strategy and solutions that enhance the professional image of more than
44,000 credential holders worldwide.
Kevin’s accomplishments included identifying process improvements that decreased expenses by seven percent while increasing revenue 22 percent year over year. He also implemented a third-party international printing solution which saved 20 percent of internal labor costs annually.
As a manager at Xerox Business Solutions, FedEx Office,
Bowne Business Solutions, and Galyans Trading Company, Kevin has supported
domestic and international organizations from developing strategy through
implementation. He has a track record of developing successful international relationships
and enjoys learning about other customs and cultures.
Kevin is an accomplished speaker on the importance of
professional credentials in the workplace and the oversight, policies, and
procedures necessary to ensure that programs remain accredited, relevant, and
defensible. He is also a certified Myers-Briggs practitioner, a member of the
American Society of Association Executives and has a Bachelor of Science in
Kinesiology from Indiana University.
