Su Hawk’s extensive experience in the association industry combines leadership, collaboration, and a laser focus on priorities. She is an innovator dedicated to organizational transformation and solving both ongoing and emerging challenges. From raising revenue, creating marketing campaigns, and member engagement, to crisis planning, board governance, team excellence, and stakeholder value, Su is committed to helping others succeed.
For more than 15 years, Su served as president/CEO of the Colorado Technology Association (CTA), BBB, and B:CIVIC. She has held leadership positions for other membership organizations and on more than a dozen nonprofit boards.
In her role at CTA, Su increased revenue over ten-fold, elevated the industry’s engagement and reputation both in the state and across the US, created partnerships, and worked with technology association CEOs in the United States and Canada. While employed by the BBB, she updated a 60-year-old organization’s revenue model. As a result, the organization became one of the top performers in the country. At B:CIVIC, she created a community of business leaders to transform their CSR practices and develop quantifiable and qualifiable data to prove the strategy.
She was appointed to high-level councils for three different governors, led the passage of legislative and regulatory issues, and has produced nearly 100 events and conferences with staff and volunteer professionals.
